This is a Playbill for the Sound of Music at the Lunt/Fontanne Theatre for August 14, 1961 starring Mary Martin. The Sound of Music premiered on Broadway in November 1959. The Playbill has ads for the "Jet-Smooth Chevrolet", Revlon color 2 page ad, Kent and L&M cigs, as well as many others. The Playbill was only stapled once in the center bottom (I do not see a mark where another center staple is missing). The Playbill measures about 6" by 9". Some of the bottom right hand corner pages have been turned back or have been folded during the past 47 years of storage, but they are very small corner folds. See below for terms.
