Original vintage block printing plate newspaper ad for the 1965 Continental release of the Toho film Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster. This wooden block has an attached metal plate that was used to print the advertisement for the film in newspapers. Plate is 1.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches long. Block is about 1" thick and has the name of the film imprinted on the sides. The plate can be inked and used as a stamp to reproduce the ad, as shown in the photo. Ghidrah introduced US audiences to King Ghidorah, one of Godzilla's most famous enemies. Ghidorah himself is pictured in this ad. Low starting price on this rare item for sci-fi and monster fans!
